Hi ☺️
CachyOS - wanted Steam hardware compatability, and familiarity; KDE provides.
I liked Ubuntu but at the time it randomly crashed my Wi-Fi driver, killing my system within hours to weeks…
Wish I’d go back to Nyarch (KDE) for the meme but I was on Gnome and wanted to try some recommendations. I liked Bazzite more than CachyOS, but I don’t understand Fedora and struggled to install an RPM file despite instructions :(
Not as harsh as OP on the deck, but it definitely has more issues than those two. However, I’d say most of the problems are caused by Steam’s Big Picture Mode.
I still love my deck its convenient and powerful, but I hate the broken keyboard, borked store navigation & terrible library function, incompatibility with my PC (mindlessly turning one game on during the other system’s play will sign me out of the former system, understandableish but frustrating), getting flashbanged by desktop mode because the brightness will reset to ~65% >o< Not had much screen scaling issues, although wifi does get weak a couple rooms away.
The great casual controls, mini pc, and quick lazy game access makes it tolerable but these issues have been reported for years in some cases and Valve has not fixed them. The Steam Deck is phenomenal but not without faults. Large amount? Perhaps not, but they are ever present depending on your use case.
Am I misremembering, or did yahoo also have a video section with classic cartoons?
One of these sites had the old Mario and Zelda cartoons, that was such a rad find.
I watched a vid on #2, that was crazy messed up and I recommend a mini documentary or finding an interview with the poor dude
That’s one of the critikal clones. The real one has no words for this.
Leta has been nice so far aside from the blue flashbang I’m never prepared for. I pray for darkmode.
Swapped from DDGo after frustrations with the LLM in my searches. The article-bloat is gone too. Very nice.
It is, and it plays great. It’s also really good for stream testing, ez to get into and see/listen for issues.
Wish I knew how modded BS runs on the standalone frame, I recall there being some visually intense tracks people made that were wicked fun
