Satou has a dragon kink and made a prophetic tail?
her expression looks to me more disturbed than just sad about the parting.
Wouldn’t you be if the one you loved forced a tail on you?
But seriously yeah it’s a bit of a mess, I took it as a collage of the volume. But it could defiantly be clearer. I would have gone for Hikaru and the titan for the cover.
I also need some help interpreting what is happening on the cover there.

I prefer my filler volumes to be more lighthearted. Coming right from a large-scale battle arc, and then jumping into the same thing just in compressed form felt unnecessary to me. The author is falling into that battle shounen trap: when everything is always redlining the high-stakes meter, then nothing is.
Is that what happened? I couldn’t remember the last volume.
Yeah, I don’t want Death March to become like Dragon Hatchling or Reincarnated as a Sword. Too much fighting gets off putting and drags on. More slow paced relaxation is required.
<Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody> - Volume 25
I have finished reading the latest Death March.
Could not for the life of me remember what happened in the last volume. Death March is good at reminding you of the characters at the start with a description and name, but it could do with a short previous chapter like some other series.
I am hoping for more slow paced relaxation in the next volume.
Instant regret once I finished it as now I can’t wait for the next volume.

2·11 days agoSome of the Isekai I thought was more unique and haven’t been mentioned here already.
So I’m a spider so what?
The Isekai drives the main plot for this one, a class is reincarnated into another world. The anime mainly follows one of the characters who has been turned into a spider monster but also flips to some of the other students who are humans and their teacher who is trying to round them all up to protect them.
The Isekai point is more important later on in the Light Novels (after the anime) as you learn more about the world, what the teacher has been doing over the years and the motives of the most powerful people in the world. If the reincarnations were not introduced into the world it would have gone differently.
No longer allowed in another world
This wasn’t an anime I found particular interesting but I feel it is unique. It follows a writer who has been reincarnated into a world that has lots of other reincarnations already. He ends up using his skills to get rid of reincarnations that are causing havoc on the world.
Another similar anime is The Executioner and her way of life

Reverse Isekai? Dragons coming to earth and living as humans.
A fun anime that shouldn’t be taken serious but is entertaining.
Saving 80000 gold in another world for retirement
What would you do if you had the ability to travel between worlds?
Use it to try and make enough gold that you can retire?
With out the Isekai / travelling between world aspect it just wouldn’t work.
Uncle from another world
The story is uncle telling stories from his time in another world.
Without the Isekai aspect is just an uncle telling his poor nephew his coma dreams.

The next volume also has a date for Jan 2027!

<TsukiMichi: Moonlit Fantasy> - Volume 18
The constant fighting in <Reincarnated As A Dragon Hatchling> got too much for me so I needed a change of pace, as TsukiMichi new volume was out a couple of weeks ago I have Picked up the latest volume.
We are finally going to Lorel!, and New students are being taken in for the Academy city classes.
Then after the end you get Hannelore!
<Reincarnated as a Dragon Hatchling> - Volume 06 to 09
I have continued with Dragon Hatchling.
A major plot point has just concluded at the end of volume 09, I am looking forward to see what happens next.
The only downside is there is still too much fighting, volume 9 was nonstop fighting. Let us have some more relaxed moments please.

So I’m a Dragon Hatchling, So What?<Reincarnated as a Dragon Hatchling> - Volume 02 to 05
I have continued with Dragon Hatchling.
Volume 02 caught up with the Anime leaving Volume 03+ to be new content.
It reminds me of <So I’m a Spider, So What?>. It has the same skills concept and mysterious Divine Voice. I would say the MC in Spider was better so far but Dragon Hatchling MC is also very likeable.
The companions are also very good, I wish we would have some more focus on the characters trying to find him. We have had a couple of short bonus stories but I would like to know more about their journeys.
I hope we get to see all the companions he leaves behind later again, I need more Ballrabbit and Nina in my life!
Negatives - Too much fighting in parts, I prefer a slower story I find too many fights can be tiring to read.
<Reincarnated as a Dragon Hatchling> - Volume 01
I ended up watching the Anime and got pulled in by the cliffhanger ending…
It’s been enjoyable so far. I will be continuing and seeing where it leads.
Will have to retry Cooking With Wild Game. I tried the 1st volume after Death March but just didn’t click.
I know you have compared them to be similar for slow paced.
Some of the ones I was thinking of:

I have read the latest volume. We have gone back to the start in Tsige for some training.

The Toa has finally got her dagger, after beating a dungeon Shiki and Tomoe made
Tsige is preparing to separate from the kingdom and become and independent city
Side note, any recommendations for series to pick up? I have been in a rut and lost the drive to start any new series.
I have been thinking about picking up one of the new fluffy ones or one of the anime’s I enjoyed. (But I am concerned they might be bad like NineSwords has mentioned with Tanya)

You got my hopes up, then I realised it’s the season not a new Spider season.
How could you ask that? Making me choose! It’s like asking Myne or Rozemyne?
Anyway…
1st - The Happy go lucky - Kumoko
2nd - The dream team - White + Ariel
3rd - Loner White
The only one I have read in this season is <Reincarnated as a Sword>.
I am looking forward to the anime, I will have to try and carry on with the LN again at some point, but it went battle crazy. Why do so many LNs go battle mad, I just want some slow pace relaxation once in a while.
I have tried <The Apothecary Diaries> in the past but couldn’t get past the first volume because of the writing style, but I am very much looking forward to the Anime.
