20·10 days agoWhat he might have failed to consider is that the customers might not have the capacity to pay more for games. With everything getting more expensive, entertainment is usually the first thing to get the boot.

18·28 days agoWhenever I see stories like this, all I can think about is how this is all a waste. It’s a waste of the resources needed for these agents to run while they don’t provide any value. It’s also a waste of time for the people that have to go through the AI slop.
7·30 days agoThat’s a totally valid use case, I have done it in the past and there are Linux distributions that are made to be used this way. Those distributions usually work by loading the whole system into ram which avoid multiples writes to the USB stick. They also usually offer some persistence mechanism so that data can be added on the USB stick.
Examples of distribution meant to be used this way: MX Linux, Puppy Linux
2·1 month agoDid you know they also include a warming function? You just have to puncture them and they will become cozy warm. As a bonus, you even get to watch a comforting fire.
This happened to me a couple time that I have the following advices to give:
- If your not using a device for some time, don’t leave it plugged in. I had a Nintendo Wii U plugged in that I forgot about, when I checked on it, the battery on the gamepad had inflated.
- If your device allow it, set the max charge below 100% especially if it’s a device that’s gonna be plugged in most of the time like a laptop. It’s still possible for the battery to inflate even if you’re using the device regularly. It happened to the laptop that was provided to me by my previous job and since it happened during the pandemic, I had to deal with this one myself.

It’s kinda funny where tech is going. We are going from programming the machines to do exactly what we want to saying what we want in natural language to some model hoping they are gonna do it right.
When technology become more magic then science.
Maybe he should have tried saying please. 😆
