  • So I read this as removal not growth and did a whole post on my Philips Lumea.

Did you mean red light therapy? Thats not a laser.

If that’s a yes, I’d recommend finding a place you can try it before buying. The panels are expensive.

I use mine for muscle inflammation. It took about 10 weeks to start to feel a difference (healing an old injury that will never be “normal”).

I’ve heard RLT being used for skin aging. I don’t know if it’s making a difference on that front. If it is, it’s probably just slowing my wrinkles.

I’m not sure the science on using RLT for hair growth is strong. All the peer reviewed papers are for skin care and muscle inflammation.

I’m surprised a derm wouldn’t give you an rx for minoxidil. Probably cheaper and proven to work.

  • I’m an air head today. I read this as hair removal and gave my opinion on my Philips Lumea.

I think you mean red light therapy, which isn’t a laser. I also have a hooga. I use it for muscle inflammation mostly. I’ve heard it’s good for skin aging, I haven’t noticed any difference on that front. I also notice it helps my winter depression ever so slightly.

And I haven’t had any noticeable difference for my hair. It’s not any thicker, healthier, etc.

I have no idea if there’s places you can use one to try it a few times before you buy it. They are stupid expensive. For what I use it for, it took like 10 weeks to remotely feel like it’s doing something. No clue if the air growth takes that long.

I’m surprised a derm wouldn’t give you an rx for minoxidil.

  • The war on our attention is so strong that you believe people don’t have time. “People” aka society do have time. They’ll scroll endlessly, giving their attention away mindlessly instead of treating attention like it’s something valuable. Attention and where people choose to spend it is one of the rare things in society we have absolute control over that terrifies the ruling class.

In our society, people would rather continue scrolling for the 45 seconds it takes to read this post. And for what? Was it worth the cost?

At least you stopped to read, presumably some of the text. Because you also thought it was worth your time to make this comment.
