Yes, I’m aware that instance admins can see the votes. I fully intend to spin up my own instance and investigate. After I complete my report on vote manipulation with evidence and send it to you, will you will ban those accounts?
You’re not wrong but you are part of the problem that lets malicious accounts game the algorithms.
Why are you against something that would target bad actors?
It’s not proper to drop names until we have evidence. I could be wrong about a few. However, It unlikely that we are wrong about them all.
I think most people already suspect some of the same accounts and can offer up names but I don’t think they should either. It’s probably best to gather evidence against them without them knowing we are looking at them.
There are several big name accounts on the fediverse that are very likely committing vote manipulation. If you mention it in the thread you will be brigaded. I see it everyday from the same accounts. Those same threads will have highly upvoted AI slop that most times doesn’t even relate to the thread. Not even a Markov chain, just completely unrelated. The same people that upvoted the original post all upvote the same AI slop. Comments that are related to the topic have much lower engagement.
I was going to spin up my own instance to track these people and later put out a report but I am currently way too busy to do that. Maybe in a couple weeks I can get started. If anyone else is as annoyed as me about this feel free to get started tracking these people and share the data with everyone please.

Yeah because it is still in development but it can be experimented with by anyone as he shares all the details. I imagined applying it to a sheet of metal and sitting that in the window so the heat is reflected but the plate will be cool. I haven’t experimented with it myself so I can’t say it would work. Just an idea.
It’s so interesting to me because this is the only way I have seen to cool below ambient without power.

The few people I knew that had a Tesla car sold them because of the hate, vandalism, and ridiculous insurance premiums.
1·9 months agoTo me it tastes good but I cannot enjoy it because of the smell.
I spent a few years working on private jets. I got to meet and talk with so many famous people. It was a very fun job but the pay was shit.
The entire Dallas Mavericks and Texas Rangers teams, Oprah, Michael Jordan, at least a dozen fortune 500 CEO’s, and former President Bush.
The most notable person for their behavior was MJ. That guy is 110% asshole.
Most of the other athletes were pretty cool. We would talk about all kinds of things, not just sports.
Oprah did not give me a car and I was bummed about that but she was pleasant otherwise.
All CEO’s were assholes except Mark Cuban. There is something about the personality of a person that is a CEO that I despise. IMO they are subhuman.
Bush was a husk. His eyes looked as if there was not a thought in his head. When someone talked to him he seemed surprised. Like he was not fully aware of where he was.
There are many more but these were the most notable.

That answer does not address why they are still being federated. It states they already are already unfederated. Then they give an incorrect description of what federation is. Then goes on to defend them staying federated.
They are federated. That’s why we all see their bullshit. If they were defederated nobody outside their instance would be bothered.
Keeping them federated so users can sign up somewhere else makes no sense. It’s some GOP level mental gymnastics. They can go sign up for any other instances at anytime. The people there choose to be there.
I’m think you are mistaken on what federated means.
Federated means they are part of the fediverse. Their post and comments propagate throughout the fediverse.
If they were defederated we would not see or hear from them.
