I have to ask… Where… Where did you get that image from 🤣
I guess copper is green when it rusts, and it kinda blocks senses…
(Not taking the piss, it’s a great mental image I have now, just completely unexpected)
Someone has a compiler if statement left somewhere in their code (… probably)
TIL about unbundled RECs. More questions to ask my companies sustainability team 😈
I really want to see her dual wield at some point and everyone go “wait, what?”
I think so, not sure about the palace, everything there indicates it was perched on the top - should still have had a rock as a wind break though?
I don’t think they are crazy high in the rest of the city though, just enough to break the worst of the wind?
I suspect the adventures that come with it will have a degree of spoilery-ness, but its definitely an extremely interesting set of world settings (particularly Stormlight/Roshar) if you wanted to use it in a campaign using a different system.
I would obviously recommend reading the books, the first couple of Stormlight books are awesome if your fine with a slow start. Unfortunately I think the second Mistborn book is considered the weakest of the series, still good though!
On the one more lane thing, going from 1 lane each way to two is a massive improvement as it allows overtaking.
Agree otherwise.
I mean, it’s a bottleneck heading back towards London too, between the barrow roundabout and Stonehenge is often a mess in both directions. Mostly due to people looking at Stonehenge instead of the road.
It’s less about improving the trains and more about making them cheaper! (Not that I would complain about some new lines either!)
I mean it would speed things up, I think the plan involved a bypass for the village next to it too?
I didn’t agree with the location of the tunnel though, so kinda happy it got canned.
2 things to note:
When offline, switch into steam offline mode to launch games, gets round some of the hanging on launch issues
Try connecting to WiFi from the steam decks desktop mode? Probably a router issue though.
Bonus Cookie Monster (before someone spotted it and he fixed it)
I believe so
I bought Reus 2 (A puzzle god game) at launch last month - game changer!
Finally a game that I enjoy playing on the deck and actually want to play after work on my commute etc. highly recommend it.
I do recommend the stormlight short stories, they are both quite good.
What info are you specifically looking for?
There are shards that represent certain concepts, ruin, preservation, honour, cultivation etc. people hold these shards, but are, influenced by it’s intent the longer they hold it.
Generally, each shard has picked a planet/solar system to settle and create/enhance their population.
Each systems magic tends to end up mirroring in some way the intent of the shard that created it. Honours require oaths, Ruin’s requires stealing power off others etc.
Some magic systems work for their users off planet (you have seen this!), others are more difficult.
That is an awful colour scheme, shouldn’t the royal domains be a recognisable colour?
That’s a fair point.
If you were single and earning an MPs salary it could be a bit of a no brainer - could you get a other equally or better paying job within a few months? Considering you have been a politician for the last 5 years not an SME in whatever field?
If you had a family on that salary, unsure. If you agreed it with your other half as a planned move, maybe?
Think of it as a safety net, if you lose the election you lose your job… But the winnings of that bet would then help you out.
If you win, you keep your reasonable lucrative job, no problem.
They are doing it as one book instead of splitting?
The art on the side is cool if they are actually doing that!
Edit: you posted this just before the instance crashed unfortunately 😕
The difficult bit is getting all of the utilities in there in a maintainable way I believe
