Also, “just a phase,” is such a blood-boiling phrase. Dismissing the seeking of the youth, dismissing their formative years, dismissing when they have formed. I know it is said to others post-youth but is so common towards the youth. The bitter irony is that if these so-called parents really believed it to be a phase, why then are they suppressing it? Reason being is that they do not want formation to become form, and think that abusing their children is how to accomplish it. Sickening.

Many men(not all, to be crystal clear) never gave a shit about women(and they still do not, the “alpha male,” self-described incels) until women they in their warped worldview made them feel “gay,” to be attracted to started to exist publicly. I think that for many people, not necessarily out of intentional malice, there is a sense of “control,” that is wanted, or alternatively “exclusivity.” A reason why if I ever did have a partner I would let them know(most likely candidate does) that unless my partner specifically wanted it, monogamy is not something that is in my realm of desire, not for my sake but that they do not feel unnecessarily bound.

People often want things to be “theirs.” It is an understandable selfishness, but it can be truly harmful when engaging in relationships, but is all too common to be seen.

I long for the days even of virtual cuddles, sadly the closest now for me would be presence in Bigscreen since other platforms are garbage and at least vibing to Game Grumps or the like would be possible, even though Bigscreen lacks a lot in terms of avatars and movement, since it is meant to be more of presence-over-action.

By taking stuff, at the risk of prying(please tell me if so), are you referring to actual medicines or “sleep aid,” OTCs such as Melatonin supplements or the other strange concoctions on sale? Just curious because I had not a body-sleepy-mind-awake but did have a physically-ill effect from OTCs outside of Melatonin(which did not help much either).

But yeah, everyone’s body is different. Hopefully you can find a way to help your sleep during those times!

The latter is unfortunately the natural assumption in the physical reality because oh what a travesty, someone wants to non-romantically non-sexually feel the warmth and comfort of another! Wild concept for folks.

But to touch on the first part, because of the latter half it would likely be seen that way(ugh), but in terms of the actual truth of the matter, it would not be cheating in the slightest. For me it is an every day thing. Sleepy always, but actually going to sleep is a problem. I get treated for it and the medicine works wonders whenever I finally take it, just sometimes takes me a bit to want to. You could always ask your Doctor about Mirtazapine or Trazodone.

It was certainly something. Not awful, not amazing, just something. Still building out my library of books, but slowing the pace down. Been having a lot of good reads though, thankfully not many have had to be put on the shelf of shame or outright returned due to being of low quality or “fair attempt, not my speed.” The ones I keep usually are the latter, where I can respect what was trying to be done, but just was not into it.

Always a pleasure seeing the lovely folks across Blahaj Zone, which has been a highlight as usual to my days.
