Buy Canadian@lemmy.ca•Canadian made syrup for carbonated drinks / Sodastream?English
1·2 years agoThere’s a shop in my town that refills the canisters for $6, so I just go there for that. Also, I’ve found a number of websites that ship large amounts of syrup (2 or 4 liters at a time) from Canada with an easy web search. I couldn’t see where the syrup was actually produced, however.

Buy Canadian@lemmy.ca•Looking to switch from Walmart pharmacy to ShoppersEnglish
1·2 years agoThey’ve got it all. I’ve never used it for a pharmacy but they sell vinyl records and physical media, camera stuff, toys, food, cosmetics, and all sorts of things.
I’ve noticed a lot of people on Bulk Barn’s facebook page spamming them with requests for clear country of origin labels for every product. Hopefully they act on it.
Maynards is made in Canada. Not Canadian owned, but made in Canada. Fuzzy peaches are brilliant.

Canada@lemmy.ca•I had to do a double take when I saw Lemmy.ca spiked to 9.1k registered usersEnglish
0·2 years agoQuestion for you: are pretty much all of the users Canadian or in Canada? Is it possible to tell?

I’ve been using Amazon since the only thing they sold was books, back in the early aughts. No more!
