You need to run the loggers I listed you to see where the halt lies. This game does prefer 2+GB of dedicated VRAM.

They’ll stop your word processor to send you an ad. Non native Linux apps won’t cease this.
You’re missing the fact Microsoft will force all Windows software to have ads. Proton&Wine won’t deter this encroachment. My question was more rhetorical, but it can indeed be taken personal.
I can’t say exactly what game was the last one I paid for that is native, because I usually don’t even have to check
Then you won’t be ready for when all software is required have ads on them, as countries are already requiring ID checks to run them. This train isn’t stopping until everyone collectively turns the switch.

This was what proton+Wine games were always going to end up with: pay thrice to play model.
Its simply the fact that nobody outside of very specific parts of the world write in such a way. And normally not when communicating with strangers online who never encountered this style of writing.
