Literally just copy your session cookie from your browser into your own reader which periodically fetches new posts from subreddits you follow for you. No one needs to use reddit directly anymore if you have a little know-how ;)

I’ve always just used MeTube

LLM assisted code warning (not that Discord isn’t at this point, lol). I have my own “discord alternative” by forking zulip and integrating jitsi meet into its ui and making voice and video calls work on the native apps. I need to get all my developer accounts in order and get the apps on the stores, but for those interested, check it out at https://consort.chat/ and the repo https://github.com/ConsortChat/ConsortStack and please please contact me if you would like any assistance getting an instance up. I’m happy to do it for free for a little bit so I can iron out any issues the software has :)
