I think it’s pretty well known, but it’s not super popular due to requiring people to read dialogue instead of multitasking while listening to the 5th rehash of a basic plot point.

Pretty great show :D

I’ve finally gotten around to watching Breaking Bad. I’m at the start of season 2 right now. It’s clearly a quality show. Even when I think a plot line or performance is lacking, the production itself is always nice.

I’ve noticed the “brown filter = Mexico” thing in American cinema for a while but feel like I’m seeing where the memes about it really come from. It’s pretty heavily used in this show.

So far I would recommend it!

I will also always recommend the Buffy the vampire slayer T.V. show, Psych, and Monk.

Yes I love the old ‘weekly procedural’.

I’m gonna make a bunch of negative assumptions based on the contents of the Agents.md and Claude appearing in the user drop down list of the commit log.

tmux is fine.

The 3 seems to just be an incrementing number for each file opened by the process.

FWIW: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File_descriptor#file_descriptor_table

If you throw an strace on a process that interacts with the filesystem you’ll see that stuff like open() returns a file descriptor and stuff like read() takes a file descriptor as an argument.

These are also generally the numbers you’re using when you do I/O redirection in your shell with stuff like 2>&1 or exec 5< ./some_file.txt

“Because it’s wrong.”
