@Grail my question is, did you have to remove all your hair from down there before surgery? and can you still grow hair there now?
Rosy. He/him/his, e/em/er or ne/nem/nir. I am a big fan of Lalah Sune. 🦢 I also love horses and wolves and geese and other animals, forests, furries, animated movies and shows, angels, mecha, goddesses, matriarchy, keeping a dream journal, plushies, and lots of other things…
I block people who don’t use alt text, or who post things I don’t like or care about - don’t take it personally. I have many words and some instances filtered. Don’t follow if you’re under 18. I may boost CW’d adult artwork occasionally.
Icon: Kio Asuno from Gundam Age with a lesbian flag.

@IAmYouButYouDontKnowYet nonbinary is an umbrella term for people who don’t consider themselves to only be a man or a woman. so multigender people, agender people, people with culture-specific genders (like two-spirit for Native Americans), etc.

@surfacetension looks cool but I’ve never used matrix before, what app would you recommend? does it matter?

@darklamer @osloengelen English has a term that’s sort of the opposite of that, “Irish twin.” Means a kid born less than a year after their previous sibling. Comes from the time when Irish-American immigrants were known for having lots of kids.
@recursive_recursion fish wife! looks cool

@Lazycog I’m reading the Cure Dolly transcript.

@Lazycog one of my resolutions for 2026 is to learn and practice Esperanto and Japanese, so that will be my focus. I’m trying to find easy things to read in both languages.
Esperanto seems fairly easy to pick up but it’s difficult to find interesting things to read- at least for a beginner like myself. Japanese, on the other hand, has a steep learning curve but lots of books I want to read. I have some manga I imported a while ago and while I enjoy looking at the art, it would be nice to read it properly! No one else has bothered to translate them so this is my only option.

@Lazycog it’s easy to find lemmy communities on mastodon but following them is somewhat clunky… there’s no way to follow a lemmy and see just the original threads without replies. that’s probably why

@Lazycog I decided to set aside some time to study Spanish, but I haven’t done much yet.

@Sunshine I hate how killing fish is considered a relaxing hobby, I hate how everyone treats it like a meme, and I hate how even “cozy” games have fish killing simulators.
There is an animated movie called Padak about fish who try to avoid getting eaten in a restaurant… it’s really fucked up but most people just joke about it since they see fish as objects…

@hamid looks really good!

@Samdell ghost romance is great 👻💞

@Samdell yay! I love mecha yuri!
@satsunami it’s my understanding that boku is used more in anime and music than real life, and that it’s mainly used by children.
Also, if you’re introducing yourself, I believe there are more natural sounding ways to do it. Just say your name and then desu. Pronouns aren’t used as much in Japanese as in English.
