Food and Cooking•Pasta Primavera with Snap Peas from the Garden
2·3 years agoExcellent!
Also, our garden habaneros actually have heat, unlike what I get at the grocery store

Literature•What's your favorite book(s) of all time?English
3·3 years agoI have a few favorites, but if I were stranded on a desert island, the one book I’d take with me would be Cage of Souls by Adrian Tchaikovsky. The book is so layered, and the world is so unusual. It’s one of the few books I kept trying to put off finishing because I didn’t want it to end.

Food and Cooking•Pasta Primavera with Snap Peas from the Garden
3·3 years agoMostly pesto as well… I freeze it so I can use it year round. Also I julienne it and add it to a bruschetta with mini San marzanos and a splash of balsamic. Sometimes I put it in a peanut butter sandwich with jalapeños, which might sound insane but I love it lol

4·3 years agoMy partner is also the gardener in our house, but we have a surplus of basil instead (which I should have used in this but forgot lol).
I love a good rice bowl with black beans, plantains, and handfuls of cilantro. My partner makes banh mi inspired tacos with marinated tofu, pickled veg, fresh jalapeños, and again handfuls of cilantro. It’s so good.
Only salt and pepper in the sauce because I like to keep my pasta simple. I still should have added that basil though! Next time.

Neurodivergence•DAE dislike the term "neurodivergent" as applied to ADHD?English
9·3 years agoI was just about to write this same thing… And that’s for people with high functioning ASD! I used to babysit a kid with ASD who was non-verbal with cognitive impairment. He will need care the rest of his life. To say there are no struggles with having ASD is just not true.
I recently cleared out my To Read list because it was getting overwhelming to comb though. Down to 8 now, but I still keep picking up random books off Libby.

Thanks! It’s often what I see when I wake up lol
