NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

i understand, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

aside from that, i wish people would move to pixelfed. it literally is just like instagram, the interface is wonderful. :(

Illinois. Zero surprise. I’ve spent ages trying to find a mental hospital that doesn’t have poor reviews in Illinois. There are none (that take Medicaid)

As someone with major cognitive issues AND someone who wants to go into teaching, it’s so important to me personally to make sure EVERYONE can understand something. To me, if you intentionally make things difficult to understand, you’re just gatekeeping. It doesn’t help anyone.

The only time difficult things help is when you’re working through problems (like homework or classwork problems). That helps it stick as you work through it. But the actual learning before the work, that should be easy. UGH.

i found meds that help with my depression and now i want to be immortal so this makes me sad.

or i’m just hypomanic. if so just kill me when the depression starts again because the last major episode lasted eight years

I think Leon the Lobster is a lobster of culture.

Recently learned about Art Fight. It's only for the month of July, but it's not too late to join. Basically, you're assigned a team, and you "attack" each other with art. The winning team is the one with the most points, which are accumulated through art attacks and effort. A much better explanation can be found in their [FAQ](https://artfight.net/info/faq).

i’m lgbt and i’m more worried about the contraceptives. i require them for medical reasons. multiple.

i actually import a specific type from another country that is not available in the us, as i respond MUCH better to it than what’s available here (and you know WHY it’s not available here? capitalism. it’s not profitable, so it never reached the US). if contraceptives are banned, i could get arrested for ordering them.

@admin I saw your comment on @debanqued’s post about how crypto is a scam… I’d say maybe most crypto is a scam, but not all. This video talks about advantages of cryptocurrency vs. fiat. You don’t have to watch, just thought you might be interested. I learned from it and it definitely made me more interested in crypto.

Late response since I haven’t been on in a bit - I’m all for microcars as long as they have that sweet, sweet AC (I have severe temperature regulation issues). They’re very cute.

Glad I watched the video before commenting lol. I was about to say “But people with disabilities still need cars!” Glad the creator agreed that cars should still be allowed for us!

Might be worth a try.

Kagi is tolerable so far. I’m currently trying metager.org out.

Metager limits you, so perhaps I’ll alternate between Kagi, Metager, and Whoogle?

disappointed that I didn’t see my sweet Sansa on there </3

also disappointed that ipods are going away when dankpods made people want them again… tim apple!!! >:(

this sounds interesting… but any idea how this compares to whoogle?

but in small numbers, it seems. i’ve been BEGGING my facebook friends to leave facebook and i provide alternatives… just crickets.

i’m tired of facebook. for some reason my main facebook is entirely glitched so i can only log in in one town. i get locked out for “security reasons” if i’m out of town. accurately answering security questions does not get me back in.

i was literally in my hometown - which i spent four years on on facebook, at least, and it’s literally listed as my hometown in my profile - and i was locked out of my facebook.

tired of this. just move to freaking friendca. what’s so special about facebook? ads? that they spy on you? facebook jail no matter your political views? anyone refusing to at least try to leave that site is a fool.

didn’t a ton of people move to mastodon?

i’m not in the loop. the obvious solution would be people ditching twitter, but they probably won’t (i imagine the amount that moved to mastodon is small).

people hate facebook and yet they refuse to leave, when several viable alternatives exist. it sucks.

Another lesser known art tool. Not sure which OSes it's available on other than iOS, but my search engine seems to suggest it's available on other platforms. On iOS there is a free version available as well as a paid version. It does have pen pressure as long as you have a compatible drawing pen!

I feel like a lot of people haven't heard of Krita. I think it's a fantastic free drawing program and I highly recommend it. According to Wikipedia, it is available for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and Chrome OS.
