I hope not. I’ve taken my extended-range Lightning halfway across the country and back, and in certain areas you need all that range. I can’t imagine having 200 miles or less, but then maybe they’re explicitly not aiming at this being a vehicle you can use for taking the family on a road trip the way that the Lightning is.

I say: more chargers in more places.

Plus, if I’m going on vacation, I often stop off at a store to pick up some supplies. Being able to charge while I’m doing so is really nice, especially if I’m having to stay somewhere without a charger.
