After announcing the release date for Overwatch 2: Invasion over the weekend, Blizzard has no confirmed you'll have to pay for the new PvE content.

Umm. Overwatch 2 PvP has always been free to play. Only thing they could’ve ever purchased was cosmetics and add ons for the base free game.
