The store bought tortillas can’t compare to fresh made, whether flour or corn. I know everyone always says this, but now that I know they’re right I’m willing to sound insufferable about it on the internet.
It feels like a lot of effort the first batch, but it gets easier and you can prep the dough balls ahead of time (even frozen) so that dinner gets on rails pretty quick. Also, I had to mix in some all purpose flour to get the cohesion where I wanted it. Definitely watch a video before you jump in, it’s got some subtleties to it.
