I’ve been seeing a lot of anti-voting sentiment going around. Can’t believe I have to say this, but you need to vote. Not only is there more to the election than just the president. (State policy, Senate, house), but not voting is not an act of protest. C’mon guys

  • I’m specifically talking about the disparity between the number of votes during a presidential election year versus a midterm election year.

Always vote during midterms, not only does it dictate control of congress (which I would hope people realize the importance of, especially given the lack of Biden’s agenda that has passed Congress…), but local elections are typically more impactful to your life.

School boards, state congress, etc etc.

It’s also the only way to get to a place where we use an alternative election system, such as ranked choice voting.
