Ja Morant 25 game suspension isn’t even in the top five longest suspension in NBA history

SPOILER: Ron Artest got 86 games for Malice in the Palace, but OJ Mayo got a 2 season ban for multiple steroid violations. These are the only two players in NBA history who got suspensions of 1 season or greater.

    Surprisingly enough whole season suspensions are exceedingly rare. I think if it were stern it’d be closer to 42 games. Though coming from the NFL where whole season and half season suspensions are handed out like candy it does feel exceedingly lenient
