minus-square DebatableRaccoon ( @DebatableRaccoon@lemmy.ca ) linkfedilinkEnglish12•2 months agoYou’re right, broader compatibility and being more user-friendly serves no use to anyone
minus-square YourPrivatHater ( @YourPrivatHater@ani.social ) linkfedilinkEnglish8•2 months ago😂 User friendly windows… Tell that to your grandma when win 7 was around. Oh and Linux is actually more compatible, you just need to work on it some times. Wich is great against cyber threats.
minus-square DebatableRaccoon ( @DebatableRaccoon@lemmy.ca ) linkfedilinkEnglish3•2 months agoJust need to work on it, huh? Oddly, that something I almost never need to do with Windows unless I’m doing something extremely niche.
minus-square YourPrivatHater ( @YourPrivatHater@ani.social ) linkfedilinkEnglish1•2 months agoI’ve done more tinkering in windows than Linux over the time. Especially for older software. Also Windows breaks more often itself.
minus-square ulterno ( @ulterno@lemmy.kde.social ) linkfedilinkEnglish0•2 months ago something extremely niche Desktop Linux is already pretty niche.
minus-square DebatableRaccoon ( @DebatableRaccoon@lemmy.ca ) linkfedilinkEnglish1•2 months agoYou definitely aren’t wrong.
minus-square hedgehog ( @hedgehog@ttrpg.network ) linkfedilinkEnglish5•2 months agoThought you were talking about Linux at first. I use both Windows, Linux, and macOS - my opinion is that Windows is the least user-friendly of the bunch.
minus-square DebatableRaccoon ( @DebatableRaccoon@lemmy.ca ) linkfedilinkEnglish1•2 months agoDoesn’t sound like you’re using it right.
minus-square hedgehog ( @hedgehog@ttrpg.network ) linkfedilinkEnglish2•2 months agoIs there a right way to use Windows?
minus-square YourPrivatHater ( @YourPrivatHater@ani.social ) linkfedilinkEnglish2•2 months agoYes! Its called making a Linux bootstick and using it instead ;)
minus-square hedgehog ( @hedgehog@ttrpg.network ) linkfedilinkEnglish2•2 months agoAh, like using Edge to download Firefox!
minus-square DebatableRaccoon ( @DebatableRaccoon@lemmy.ca ) linkfedilinkEnglish1•2 months agoNot whatever way you’ve been using it by the sounds of things.
minus-square hedgehog ( @hedgehog@ttrpg.network ) linkfedilinkEnglish1•2 months agoShould I apologize for hurting your feelings by suggesting that Windows is bad?
minus-square DebatableRaccoon ( @DebatableRaccoon@lemmy.ca ) linkfedilinkEnglish1•2 months agoIt’d be pretty stupid to get any amount of upset over someone having an opinion. Factual inaccuracies are something else though.
minus-square ulterno ( @ulterno@lemmy.kde.social ) linkfedilinkEnglish0•2 months agoSounds like something an apple exec might say… For their products.
minus-square DebatableRaccoon ( @DebatableRaccoon@lemmy.ca ) linkfedilinkEnglish1•2 months agoNah. An Apple exec would outright tell you you’re using it wrong despite knowing of an inherent flaw in the design and offer to sell you a new one for even more money.
minus-square ulterno ( @ulterno@lemmy.kde.social ) linkfedilinkEnglish0•2 months agoGuess this particular exec is not getting this month’s bonus.
minus-square DebatableRaccoon ( @DebatableRaccoon@lemmy.ca ) linkfedilinkEnglish1•2 months agoLet’s be honest, he still would.
