• But he does have a whole hell of a lot to do with whether or not Trump should lead and in a two party system you have to take that into consideration. I’m in a place where at this current moment our entire focus needs to be on not allowing Donald Trump to become president. The Democrats as a whole have severely fucked up. Biden shouldn’t have run again. Some democrats who weren’t Joe Biden should have primaried against him. The Democrats need to start trying to appeal more to rural voters, possibly by offering tax rebates for things like gas tax to farmers (and I’m not in favor of propping up petroleum products, I’m just also not in favor of punishing people who’s livelihoods depend on gas and diesel instead of the REAL polluters like Shell Oil, British Petroleum, and Garmin). They need to start realizing by playing compromise games with the republicans they’re just capitulating and letting the republicans slowly implement fascism, which has been their goal since the late 1960s. Also we as voters need to stop being cicadas, being loud and noticeable in cycles. We need to spend the next four years organizing ourselves and breaking the system.

There are two parties in America. There’s the fascists, and the fascist collaborators. In the time between now and election day our best bet is probably the fascist collaborators. But goddamn, let’s make 2025 local elections different. Let’s show them that we are many and they are few in 2026 for Congress, and in 2028, let’s finally get a real difference maker into the white house with a political environment that allows them to do the things they want to do. I’m tired of having a split legislative and executive branch because progressives don’t show up for midterms
