We’ve been gaming together since a long time. Most of us have recently become parents, so gaming together became a bit more difficult.

We stopped competitive gaming, since sometimes someone needs to suddenly leave (bcs kids).

So we currently enjoy some short, fun, entertaining, non-competitive multiplayer games. Here is a list of some:

  • Deep Rock Galactic
  • Valheim
  • Raft
  • Rust
  • Human fall flat
  • Minecraft
  • Unrailed
  • Overcooked
  • Tribes of Midgard
  • Among us
  • Pummel Party
  • Don’t starve together
  • Fall Guys
  • Golf with your friends
  • Orcs must die 3
  • Tabletop Simulator

Any recommendations we could also try out?

  • My favorite game to play with my friend who has a kid is rounds. 1v1 2d “shooter” where you get a power up every time you die. First to die 5 times looses. Short games, easy to pause in the middle, and scratches that competitive itch. Probably like $2 on steam
