Hey all. Always enjoyed reading everyone’s suggestions on more unknown games available during big steam sales.
I’ll start off with one that I have been a fan of for a long time: Death Road to Canada
This game is like a zombie action Oregon Trail like game, where you manage supplies and fight through hordes of zombies on your way to the safe haven of Canada. Only US$3.74 right now and well worth it imo!
I can vouch for PlateUp! too. It’s similar to overcooked, yet also very very different. the fact that you get to decide on what meals you cook as you go and design the layout of your restaurant yourself means you can prepare for the chaos a lot more. I never really felt like I lost because the game did something unfair.
You are right, the game is pretty fair. And the fact you can automate almost anything, way different than overcooked. All I want is a creative mode to mess around in!
