I believe The Beatles: Rock Band came the closest to being perfect. Eveything about that game was just beautifully done and the only things missing was Pro Drums, an option for Keys, and a few more Beatle songs (Hey Jude, Strawberry Fields Forever, Yesterday etc. etc.)
FWIW, the system requirements for VR, including the Index are pretty low. I was running an R5 5900 and a real old AMD GPU (can’t remember exactly, but I believe it was a 5000 series from around 2010, I’ll have to dig out the card). Never ran into an issue and Alyx ran great. You can build a pretty cheap VR only system.
