I believe The Beatles: Rock Band came the closest to being perfect. Eveything about that game was just beautifully done and the only things missing was Pro Drums, an option for Keys, and a few more Beatle songs (Hey Jude, Strawberry Fields Forever, Yesterday etc. etc.)

    (as long as you play Primehack or Remastered to get more modern controls).

    Y’know, I only played Prime now that the remaster happened and I don’t really agree with this. A lot of things in Prime seem like they were designed specifically with the original controls in mind, like completely free camera control is cheating somehow.
