Because even if they’re done somewhere else it’s still creating needless waste with what’s left behind regardless of location, it’s still releasing unnecessary pollutants into the atmosphere for what? So you can stare for a split second at a big flashy light? Is your life so dull? That’s not even getting into all the fires that are started every year.

Again, not even touching all the damage to property, the ecosystem and to lives through the fires caused by fireworks every year.
