An update to Google's privacy policy suggests that the entire public internet is fair game for it's AI projects. If Google can read your words, assume they belong to the company now, and expect that they’re nesting somewhere in the bowels of a chatbot.

Trust me - Google will be sued. The only question is which side will have the persistence to outlast the other as lawyers burn a hole in their bank account? I can’t see anyone winning this lawsuit, it will be like Google vs Oracle - appeal after appeal after appeal until one side gives up.
Ironically, the person in the best position to sue was Elon Musk… could’ve tried to get $30,000 in statutory damages for each tweet Google copied… or more realistically, a settlement to pay off all Elon’s debt.
But of course, Twitter has gone dark. So that’s out the window.
