I love the original Riven. A sequel to Myst, very immersive puzzle games with focus on atmosphere and a deep backstory. The original from 1997 was done with pre-rendered images. The remake will be rendered in real time and will expand the world with new content.
I’ve bought all the Myst remakes over the years. Every time I was disappointing by how movement was implemented. Finally, the last remake let me wander round the same way I would in an FPS. That’s all I ever wanted! Based on that, I’m looking forwards to this.
