I miss playing MMO’s, but micro transactions ruin any sense of progression for me.

Cosmetics are fine, as long as you can’t just turn around and sell said cosmetics in game.

I doubt my account is still active. Even if it is, I doubt I have access to the email it would be attached to any more (if that was even a thing back then). It was that long ago and who knows what 14-year-old me would have made the password.
If you can remember enough details, you can email them (I think through the email address on the account sign in portal) and they can look up your information and transfer your account back to you.
