How do you guys feel about accounts that post threads and then don’t ever comment in them?
If a person makes a post and doesn’t participate further, then there can be valid reasons, but over all it just feels rude, dishonorable or something to me.
I’m starting to wonder if when an OP doesn’t reply that they are just bots fishing for common responses for some LLM training data or something.
If someone shows respect and thanks to one person who is helpful, then why shouldn’t they for all who are helpful?
It would be awfully egotistical for me to be upset that I wasn’t the only one who was thanked. Like thanking other people makes it meaningless.
IMO it just shows the persons character in relation to whatever the subject at hand is. Plenty of things to be critical of but being nice to too many people isn’t one of them.
