I know most of the Bethesda RPGs have massive mod support, and there’s games like Minecraft that have more mods than anyone can imagine. I would consider those games pretty playable in their vanilla states. Would you say there are any games that were “saved” by modding? Or that are still kept alive by thriving modding communities? What are some of your favorite mods?
Is there are Kotor or Kotor 2 mod that… kinda takes a lot of the grinding out of it? There’s so much I find appealing and have enjoyed about those games, but these days I just don’t have the patience for their slow pacing with the simple combat.
I’d assume it’s just lost to me though, which is alright - I’ve got lots to play otherwise.
If I’m gonna spend hours upon hours in RPG fights, it’s almost always gotta be either a great action system or, better, a great turn-based tactics system (brb, must go hug Divinity Original Sin 2 again).
Definitely, I’d wager. Check out https://www.nexusmods.com/kotor and https://www.nexusmods.com/kotor2
There’s basically a mod for everything. If you just want to play the game on easy to enjoy the roleplay and story, use the save editor and give yourself godly stats.
