I’ve recently been looking through this unbelievably detailed list/history of the chairs appearing in all the different Trek series/movies. Thought you all might enjoy!
Nothing to comment except this:
I always appreciated that Worf had bold taste in furniture and that it was appropriately abstract that it appeared “alien” in differentiation from the often banal Starfleet standard designs we saw everywhere that were also pretty cool but very repetitive and boring, neutral colors.
It’s in there! Listed as the Stokke Barstool. They are not cheap.
~$2500USD/ea, for anyone else as curious as me
Wow! Just, wow. Such a detailed & complete database of interesting knowledge that I fully appreciate, but will never use. I commend you in the highest form.
Of course there is a detailed list of all the chairs that have appeared in Star Trek. I never thought I’d say this about chairs but… interesting.
Very much on-brand that while the federation have lots of fancy comfy chairs, Quark just went to Ikea
I’ve always had a fascination with trek furniture. I never knew anyone else did!
What a fantastic resource!
If you like that you may also enjoy this three part series on the furniture used in the SNW sets!
