thingsiplay ( @thingsiplay@beehaw.org ) 55•3 months agoI never considered Blue Dragon as a spiritual successor to Chrono Trigger. Blue Dragon is just a complete different game, with some of the same developers.
ninjan ( @ninjan@lemmy.mildgrim.com ) English28•3 months agoIt is a great game imo, but it’s also insanely long and pretty grind heavy. I made it through two of the three disc before I sadly lost my save file in a break in.
I later tried again but only made it to disc 2 before just not being able to stomach the grind :/
tacosanonymous ( @tacosanonymous@lemm.ee ) 9•3 months agoI agree that this game doesn’t get as much love as Lost Odyssey. But that is rightfully so. LO is an amazing game.
steal_your_face ( @steal_your_face@lemmy.ml ) English6•3 months agoAnd Nobuo Uematsu did the music. This game popped in my head the other day and was hoping it was on steam. I guess you have to emulate it to play it.
huquad ( @huquad@lemmy.ml ) English4•3 months agoMy buddy had this game, shit had like 8 discs
Omegamanthethird ( @Omegamanthethird@beehaw.org ) 4•3 months agoIt was 3. But IIRC, it was the first 360 game to have multiple discs.
huquad ( @huquad@lemmy.ml ) English4•3 months agoYeah you’re right; looking it up it was 3. My kid brain at the time must have seen that and the tale of the multiple disks grew.
theOneTrueSpoon ( @theOneTrueSpoon@feddit.uk ) 4•3 months agoI hope they bring this to modern consoles, I never had any Xbox consoles but would like to play it
