- uBlock Origin - Ad blocker
- Dark Reader - Dark mode everywhere
- Privacy Badger - More tracking protection
- Old Reddit Redirect - Redirects all reddit URLs to the old versions
- Katlah ( @eya@lemmy.dbzer0.com ) English12•7 months ago
privacy badger is useless with ublock origin
- NotNotMike ( @notnotmike@programming.dev ) 2•7 months ago
Not entirely. Privacy Badger will also block embedded social media posts, replacing them with opt-in viewing.
- boyi ( @boyi@lemmy.sdf.org ) 1•7 months ago
I have all except one: Decentraleyes instead of Privacy Badger, for no specific reasons.
- Possibly linux ( @possiblylinux127@lemmy.zip ) English1•7 months ago
Ublock origin is way more than a Ad blocker. It also blocks lots of other things including site hijacks though multiple redirects and redirecting tracking links.

Dark Reader, LibRedirect, ublock origin
I’ve tried LibRedirect on desktop, but most of the frontends it redirected to didn’t work. Is that fixed?
- sabreW4K3 ( @sabreW4K3@lazysoci.al ) 6•7 months ago
You can pick which instance you’re redirected to. If one stops working, pick another.
- Iapar ( @Iapar@feddit.de ) 2•7 months ago
Was the same for me at first but in the setting is button which pings the instances. I just checked everything with a green number and unchecked everything with a red number. After that it worked.

There is a war going on. Just find one that works and use it.
- dvdnet62 ( @dvdnet62@feddit.nl ) 9•7 months ago
Ublock origin, tampermonkey and bitwarden
- Paradoxvoid ( @Paradoxvoid@aussie.zone ) English7•7 months ago
Is there any reason to use the Bitwarden Firefox extension rather than the app?
- yessikg ( @yessikg@lemmy.blahaj.zone ) 0•7 months ago
Autofill
- Overspark ( @Overspark@feddit.nl ) 6•7 months ago
Consent-O-Matic is a massive timesaver and works great on mobile. Not sure if you can install it directly these days, I use my own collection.
- Xirup ( @Xirup@lemmy.dbzer0.com ) 3•7 months ago
What it does?
- Overspark ( @Overspark@feddit.nl ) 4•7 months ago
It takes care of most cookie consent popups you get when visiting a new website. And it can automatically deny anything that hurts your privacy.

Has anyone else found the firefox app on android buggy? Always crashes when switching to full screen when watching a video but will work when opening it again immediately. Gets into the wrong state with private vs non private tabs etc.
- kevincox ( @kevincox@lemmy.ml ) 1•7 months ago
Video sometimes fails to play when coming back to it. I need to restart the browser. However the rest of the page is responsive and I haven’t had it crash.
- cmgvd3lw ( @cmgvd3lw@discuss.tchncs.de ) 3•7 months ago
LibRedirect, NoScript, uBlock Origin.

User-Agent Switcher and Manager for those rare occasions when a site wants to prevent access from a mobile browser and/or Firefox in general
- Andromxda 🇺🇦🇵🇸🇹🇼 ( @Andromxda@lemmy.dbzer0.com ) English2•7 months ago
- The classic, uBlock Origin
- Decentraleyes
- Bitwarden
- Read Aloud
Dark Reader works, but unfortunately it completely destroys the performance
- Delusion6903 ( @Delusion6903@discuss.online ) English1•7 months ago
True. I’ve had better luck with Dark Background and Light Text.
- Possibly linux ( @possiblylinux127@lemmy.zip ) English2•7 months ago
Ublock origin is what I mostly use
- kevincox ( @kevincox@lemmy.ml ) 2•7 months ago
I use:
- wahming ( @wahming@monyet.cc ) English1•7 months ago
I haven’t actually found any that DON’T work on mobile
- boredsquirrel ( @boredsquirrel@slrpnk.net ) 1•7 months ago
