Cancer Alley is aptly named. Whatever we think the status is, it’s worse. It is inhumane.

protist ( @protist@mander.xyz ) English5•17 days agoThese are some of the most conservative people in the country living here. The overwhelming majority of them want absolutely nothing to change. When someone gets cancer, they turn to “god” for help. Any effort to make their environment cleaner or healthier would be immediately denounced as “government overreach” or “socialism.”
