I think saying they’re a “huge” supporter is a stretch, but they’re certainly pro-Israel. The main issue being that they sued the Starbucks Workers Union for tweeting “Solidarity for Palestine!” and saying that meant the union was in support of terrorism. To me that’s more of an anti-union issue, but it shows that Starbucks sees condemning genocide as a valid reason to go after the union.

I don’t think the layout starbucks has over here is conducive to meeting people. It’s much better to regularly go to small private coffee shops and if you’re lucky they have events too. The issue is just that these businesses have to pay taxes and the big boys evade them.
