Deconceptualist ( @Deconceptualist@lemm.ee ) English21•2 months agoNAND and NOR are swapped. Pretty good otherwise 😄Huh, it’s actually correct. I remembered the logic gates but not how they translate to words, heh.
Here’s how it works. Thanks to everyone who pointed it out. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_Morgan’s_laws
yetAnotherUser ( @yetAnotherUser@discuss.tchncs.de ) English18•2 months agoNAND = ¬(A ∧ B) = ¬A ∨ ¬B = Not A or Not B
NOR = ¬(A ∨ B) = ¬A ∧ ¬B = Not A and Not B
mehdi_benadel ( @mehdi_benadel@lemmy.balamb.fr ) English3•2 months agoYeah otherwise the nomenclature would not make sense
Edit: I take it back, it’s properly swapped, I thought it wasn’t.
FYI : a nor b = not a and not b, and vice versa for nand
stebo ( @stebo02@lemmy.dbzer0.com ) English14•2 months agothese should all be flipped horizontally because the red should be on top
brianary ( @brianary@startrek.website ) English2•2 months ago🎤 Tap, tap, is this thing on? Posting again, even though this joke is probably only for me.
Presumably, this is F W DeMorgan’s Law.
