Pacrat173 ( @Pacrat173@lemmy.ml ) 17•26 days agoAs a proud member of https://lemmy.world/c/vexillology this image causes me much distress
ScreamingFirehawk ( @ScreamingFirehawk@feddit.uk ) 10•26 days agoThe Nor and Nand text is swapped aroundI was wrong, my review comment is that your expressions could do with some parentheses for clarity
Catt ( @Solely_a_Catt@programming.dev ) 12•26 days agoNope, the text is correct.
not (x or y) <=> (not x) and (not y) not (x and y) <=> (not x) or (not y)
Edit: The parenthesis on the right side if the equivalence are only there to make it easier to read. Without those, the expression would be the same in this case
ScreamingFirehawk ( @ScreamingFirehawk@feddit.uk ) 5•26 days agoAh yeah, the English is confusing written how it is in the post, I needed the parentheses for it to make sense
anton ( @anton@lemmy.blahaj.zone ) English8•26 days agoIt’s correct, as the negation applies to the output. As that is difficult to describe in the English language, they applied De Morgan’s law first.
Mammothmothman ( @Mammothmothman@lemmy.ca ) 9•26 days agoWhat about exclusively South or Africa and Exclusively not South nor Africa?
lime! ( @lime@feddit.nu ) English6•26 days agoeither south or africa but not both
Cornflake ( @Cornflake@pawb.social ) English8•26 days agoI thought I was looking at schematic symbols at first 💀
magnetosphere ( @magnetosphere@fedia.io ) 7•26 days agoI still don’t know what I’m looking at.
