Last time a fake id worked, just searched for an id sample online and gimped it to match the name and the date on the google acc.
Didn’t even have to change the default photo.
This was some years ago, idk if it still works tho.

Credit card is the best of the options. There are all sorts of strict rules and restrictions about how companies store and use credit card information. Those rules don’t exist for the other options.

You either comprise by not using YouTube anymore, or you compromise by giving them the most tightly restricted information they’ll accept.You’ll never have perfect privacy. I guarentee Google already has a supressing amount of info on you. At least this is officially protected. Once you give the card as proof, you can probably delete it from their saved data. And they have to honor that, both by law and contracts with Visa etc.
That’s full identity verification giving them a credit card. They may be required to delete the card, but they aren’t going to be required to delete a record that says we confirmed the identity of this account with a credit card on this date. If you don’t want your name and social security number tied to your google account don’t give them your credit card.
Frankly though, we all know google is the worst of the worst for privacy. Bypassing the age verification will only by OP time.

Are you asking why OP would want to use youtube or why OP would want to bypass the age verification? From context seems like it could be either of those.

Tampermonkey extension still works for me to unlock age-restricted videos. Is it having issues for you?

It’s got instructions for nearly every browser. Once you have the extension you can install whichever scripts you like. I mostly use it for verification bypass but there’s a lot of other cool stuff you can do too.

For me what worked is restating the router. I read that you use VPN, so I don’t know I it will work.
if all fails i can highly recommend invidious. you can also import your youtube subscriptions

Can you try to make a new account? Or use any of the YouTube frontends?
I tried, but it doesn’t work for age restricted videos. I tend to use Freetube whenever possible, and only swap to other options when I am forced for age restriction.
Can’t you use a VPN and route your traffic outside of your country?
I am on VPN 24/7 changing countries made no difference
Do you use your google acccount? If so, try without it You can use newpipe or invidious btw
