    Why even mention lube?

Does it contribute anything to the broader narrative? Does anyone LIKE using lube?

What actual function does describing lube at all have in whatever unholy abomination this basement-dweller writes?

I… not to particularly defend erotica but isn’t the foreplay and getting lubed and all kinda… part of it? It’s not like people are gonna go seek out and read someone’s erotica that’s like “and then he fucked me. It was adequate. Please cum.”

it’s very valuable to be accurate about this stiff

erotic material is often the only sex education people get, why do you think most men are so bad at female anatomy and sex?

    • Just like with any kind of story, there are many readers who enjoy immersing themselves into a character’s experiences, and for that kind of reader fine details can be very important. Especially when the pleasure derived from said experience hinges almost entirely upon its inclusion. If you are glossing over the entire intimate act you can probably skip it. But in erotica, the intimate details are part of the point in most cases.
