“Am I a good e n t i t y ?”
Genuinely tho, I call my non-biney partner a good bean in the same way one would call someone a good boy/girl. Because they is. They is best bean~
I think “good bean” is my favourite non-joke option that’s been mentioned in this thread
I also love being called bean :)
I’m a month late but hello there, legume~
People will attribute masculine and feminine gender to ‘master’ and ‘mistress’ respectively, but I think master would be the ‘neutral’ pick here.
Or you can shuck the dynamic with: owner, divine, ruler, royal, liege, or any number of ranks with which you attribute subservience! :3
Yeah I have to second the “master” as a gender neutral. People always think of it as masculine, but there is no feminine alternative for most uses of master. You aren’t your dogs mistress, for example.
You aren’t your dogs mistress
I’ll grant that it sounds a bit archaic, but “mistress” is technically correct there.
But yes, agreed that “master” can be used in a gender-neutral way.

My owner likes Mx and mxtress
What do you think about steward?
I think steward comes across slightly more like a ‘head servant’ type rather than a title of someone you (as a sub) are giving yourself to. You could maybe have fun with some roleplay elements in that, but for me SFF books have ruined the title as one which I would ‘worship’.
normalize use of the gender neutral “bitch”
Especially when referring to the person dominating you, that’s bound to result in some fun >:3

Hey bitch 😼

I was just joking. I’m sorry.
I’m not really relevant to your interaction but I thought it was a little cute. Not tactful, but the spirit was there.
If I wanted to write a similar message like yours, I’d probably have done it like this:
Let’s say I were to call you a “bitch”. What would your purely hypothetical response be? 🥺
That’s:
- less direct
- playful (“If I were to insult you” is a very fun way to tease AND pretend to be an innocent little angel)
- probing the water to see if they’re interested
At least in my opinion. I’m terrible at flirting though so you may want to evaluate this yourself.

What if their name is Matt. Would you address them as Mattress Matt?

This is why I call everyone “programs”, like Kevin Flynn
Some people I know have been using “sophont”, as their version of this
Owner/pet is very neutral~ Or admin/user
“Or admin/user” Oh, I love this. One day I’m going to sub for a techy dom(me) and it’s going to be so funny to see how they react when I call them admin
I’m going to upload my public key into you and turn you into a seedbox
I like computers so I’m totally gonna sudo apt purge touchstarvation on my partners next time I visit them. Purge that shit good, leave no trace. Arson.
MASTER / SLAVE
KILL ALL CHILDREN? [Y/N]
The equivalent would actually be “am I a good child?”
…which also sounds questionable.
Am I a good one?
If they’re furry and/or therian, using their species works great! Like “good dog”, but whatever kind of animal they are.
– Frost
Or generic ‘critter’/‘creature’ — however, I can’t think of a good method of address for non-furry non-therians.
Am I a good greendale human being?
Maybe an extension of Mx, Ms, Mr: Mixtress? (I suppose the “ess” is what makes it seem feminine)
Or just “Mx. Name”, like how “Mr. Bond” can feel like a single term in the James Bond movies. (Mx. pronounced “mix” feels right here)
Let’s see:
- Mistress
- Mister
The end should be changed in stead. You can do the X thing: Mistrex (or Mistrix to keep the “e” part pronounced as “ih”).
Or change it another way: Mistro, Mistrez?
Ooh, this is a cool way to come at the problem. I am surprised I didn’t think of this, as I do rather like the title “Mx” (even though I don’t use it myself — I use Ms.)
I like Mistrex/Mistrix, that seems… sensible to me.
You could also do Miztrex/Miztrix, if you want to make it a bit more distinct.
Dom terms I’ve used: Majesty, Highness, Excellence, Liege, Master, Owner. Sub terms I’ve used: Pet, Toy, Slave, Bitch, Dog, Puppy, Kitty, Precious, Doll.
Some terms like Maid work but that depends on how feminine you see the term. Another interesting one is Knight for like a service sub.
So, Aristotle was a sub?
Not entirely sure of the link to Aristotle here, but I could see that, based on my limited knowledge of the dude
