You will own nothing and like it.

Isn’t Sony one of the biggest manufactures of bluray disks in the entire world? Why the fuck are they scaling down their physical media production instead of trying to expand the monopoly, especially since Japan hasn’t gotten over their physical media consumption? This seems like a really bad case of “line must go up”.
I’m gonna be mad if Frieren doesn’t keep getting Blu-ray releases. Just yesterday I was checking to see if season 2 was released yet in English.
Sony be like: “I hate the wind, I hate wisdom. I am going to become the opposite of Mestionora.”
Considering Sony’s/CR’s near monopoly on both streaming and physical anime, this leaves me very somber for the future. I hope parties like MVM and AllTheAnime can license some of the titles to release physically…

I dont know anyone who is glazing crunchyroll. Im sure it happens, but i would be surprised if it wasnt the least liked popular streaming service.
least liked popular streaming service.
Oh, HiDive is far worse. Crunchyroll may a master of the footgun, but at least its website works the majority of the time.
I guess you did say “popular” though.
