Which to be clear, is a good thing we mostly switched to compostable. I’m all for it. Just on the list of priorities it’s like 10,000th in line, and damn did it nicely distract from the major polluters.
I didnt mind the shift away from plastic straws/bags. If it keeps em outa the ocean and away from animals I think its a good thing. It definitely felt performative in a way though

of course, i try to use paper and not disposable plastic as much as possible, bu the solutions to any of this are legislative as much as boycotts
At least plastic straws are disposable. Records are meant to be kept for decades, and replayed thousands of times.
