Every time mainstream channels like CNN or FOX show a clip of Hasan saying something deplorable, it’s just a clip of him saying something extremely based where he’s 100% correct
They make Hasan sound so much more based than he really is.

Well, if you flip it around, you would want our few more-or-less-ethical politicians to criticize Nazi media personalities.
Large social media streamers have as big as a platform as mainstream media outlets these days. And Hasan has become the DSA figurehead so they’re piling on the pressure to get him to fall in line like all good reforminsts eventually do. Hasan is playing along nicely.
