What’s with America and refusing its workers basic comfort while they work? Does it really not know how to decouple slavery from paid labor?

The labor is what makes the ruling class money but the slavery is what makes them horny

“Amazon deducted their limited bank of unpaid time off. Soon enough, they had depleted that limited bank of ‘unpaid time off,’ and Amazon threatened to terminate them.”

I’ve never heard of an employer having a bank of unpaid leave. I’m not surprised because it’s Amazon, but geez.
