Good advice, though. I met someone that I share so many interests with, and can talk to for hours upon hours; I’ll never grow tired of her. I think we’re best friends, and that makes me even happier than being her lover.

Complementary to this: chase a good life for yourself. Being happy where you are makes you appealing to others, both friends and potential partners.
