I am soon 53, and this never ending hate between so many people over these last few years is the sadest thing to happen in my lifetime. While I have always thought that the EU should streamline more, and I also support talking about issues that need to be solved, what is happening now is something else. I support Trump when he says that Europe must take more care of its own defense, that is fair. What do not support is an environment in which there is so much animosity that one no longer can say anything, however moderate, out of fear of being mowed down in now man’s land.
Oh I agree in the increase but disagree on how it should be handled
We cannot change Trump, he is what he is. It is the american voters who must decide his fate. But I think better cooperation, less corruption and more honesty would do much. Also, if it is the case that European leaders do not like facebook and american social media, why do they not use European and Canadian social media when they discuss or publish things? Xing? Soundcloud? dailymotion? Spotify? I also think that they complain about Trump in Scandinavian news media, but they do not even mention those countries which they say are going to save them from horrible Trump. Meaning they never cover a single event or debate in the Eu parliament? Most people dont know what they do, it is a shangri-la in which we are told they eat smoked salmon and kaviar and feather their own beds. So people do not know what the EU parliament does, but they do know when trump has been golfing? That is front page news. By simply covering European politics they would create that European awareness which is an obstacle for what they say they want?
