How awful. Don’t hesitate to call the police if it happens again. Domestic violence is not only between partners, but often parent/child too. Unfortunately, renovations might mean they plan to stay long term. I feel your pain.

Not a minor, but I believe so, yes. It was very loud and distressing. I regret not calling the police.
