I’m sure the system isn’t perfect, but this happens so frequently that it’s reassuring that the NHS can weed out people who put their curiosity above patient privacy.
Patient records are all tracked by access and all staff are repeatedly warmed of the consequences of accessing with famous examples given. The fact some staff are still doing this is ridiculous.
