    The server belonged to the Italian anti-capitalist and anti-fascist internet service provider Autistici/Inventati (A/I), which was located at Amsterdam’s Science Park.

    Way to bury the lead.

    This is how the USA designating AntiFa as terrorism has global consequences.

    First their domains were switched off, most likely because the domain authority, situated in the USA, was pressured to do so.

    Now they’re gone completely, incl. noblogs.org.* I’m guessing this server seizure has something to do with it.

    Amsterdam’s Public Prosecutor’s Office stated that the seizure was carried out under the mutual legal assistance treaty between the Netherlands and the U.S.

    Fuck them for not having the balls to question the request.

    Doesn’t NL’s government also suffer from the neoliberalism-slash-nazi plague recently?

    * some archiving at nublogs.org, e.g. A/I’s own cavallette.nublogs.org

      Yep, a happy little American colony.

      I heard about the “Dutch-American Friendship Treaty” (DAFT – very aptly named) a while back. An American citizen only needs to register a business (even a ZZP/sole proprietorship works), create a Dutch business bank account, deposit 4,500€ there, and then they get legal residency.

      You don’t need to give any business plan, nor is there any point-based test (which is required for basically anyone else who wants to move to the Netherlands to start a business)… You don’t have to prove that your business is innovative, that you have any higher education, nor that you will hire any Dutch employees… As long as you register your business and deposit the required 4,500€, and that you’re an American citizen, your business is legally considered to be in the interest of the Dutch economy and you’re granted residency.
